The treatment
The IPL acne photofacial uses intense pulsed light on two fronts at once: it targets the bacterium involved in inflammation, and it treats the vascular component of the lesions — the redness that lingers long after the spot itself is gone.
That is why it is especially relevant for skin where acne has left red marks rather than depressed scars: those call for microneedling.
This treatment was created for the Mont-Saint-Hilaire clinic and is offered there only.

It is a treatment designed specifically for that clinic. In Montreal, the Clear & Balance facial and the chemical peel cover acne with excellent results.
Does it treat acne scarring?
No. IPL treats inflammation and redness. Depressed scars call for PDRN microneedling or nano fractional resurfacing.
