IPL — Rosacea
Diffuse redness has a vascular cause. IPL treats it at the source.
The treatment
The IPL rosacea treatment aims to reduce the appearance of facial redness, visible vessels and uneven skin tone associated with rosacea-prone skin.
Intense Pulsed Light is absorbed by the haemoglobin in dilated vessels. Those vessels close and are gradually resorbed by the body, visibly calming the red background of the face.
Unlike soothing facials, which address surface discomfort and inflammation, IPL acts on the vascular component itself. The two approaches are complementary.

Frequently asked questions
Is rosacea curable?
No, it is a chronic condition. IPL strongly reduces its visible manifestations; annual maintenance holds the result.
How does it differ from Calm & Restore?
Calm & Restore soothes, repairs the barrier and reduces reactivity. IPL closes dilated vessels. The two are often combined: IPL for the cause, the facial for comfort.
Is there downtime?
Marked redness is expected for a few hours, sometimes into the next day. No crusting.
