The treatment
This IPL treatment targets the appearance of small visible facial veins — telangiectasias — and localized redness.
Intense Pulsed Light targets visible superficial vessels to help create a more even, clearer-looking complexion. The vessel coagulates and is then naturally resorbed.
Unlike rosacea, which shows as a diffuse red background, telangiectasia appears as fine, distinct lines: that difference determines the treatment parameters.

Frequently asked questions
Do the vessels disappear permanently?
A treated vessel is permanently cleared. Others may appear over time, depending on predisposition and sun exposure.
Telangiectasia or rosacea — which one?
Fine visible lines call for this treatment; a diffuse red background calls for IPL rosacea. The two often coexist, and the prior assessment decides.
