IPL — Dark Spots Removal
Pulsed light targets the pigment itself: spots rise, darken, then shed.
The treatment
The IPL dark spots treatment targets the appearance of sun spots, pigmentation and uneven skin tone. Intense Pulsed Light is selectively absorbed by the melanin in the spots, which fragments and rises to the surface.
In the following days, treated spots visibly darken — the sign that the treatment worked — then flake off and disappear, leaving a clearer, more even-looking complexion.
This treatment is suitable for Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV only. On deeper skin, the energy would risk being absorbed by the skin's own melanin.

Frequently asked questions
Can I have it with deeper skin?
No. The treatment is restricted to Fitzpatrick I–IV. For deeper skin tones, the Bright & Even facial and topical protocols remain safe and effective.
Does it treat melasma?
Melasma is hormonal and reacts badly to heat: IPL can worsen it. A prior assessment is essential, and another approach is often recommended.
How long before an event?
Allow at least three weeks: spots darken then flake for seven to ten days.
