The treatment
Venus Versa™ uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) with SmartPulse™ technology to remove unwanted hair from the face and body. Energy is delivered to the deeper layers of the skin, targets the melanin in the hair and destroys the follicle.
SmartPulse™ ensures safe, even energy distribution: that is what makes the treatment comfortable and allows large areas to be covered without localized overheating.
Hair is only destroyed during its active growth phase. That is why the protocol runs as a series of spaced sessions: each pass catches the fraction of hairs then growing.

- Plan six to eight sessions for significant reduction, then annual maintenance.

Frequently asked questions
How many sessions are needed?
Six to eight on average, four to eight weeks apart depending on the area. The face often needs more sessions than the legs, because the hair cycle there is shorter.
Is it painful?
People describe a warm snapping sensation. Venus Versa™'s integrated cooling and SmartPulse™ technology make it markedly more comfortable than earlier-generation IPL.
Does it work on blonde or white hair?
No. IPL targets melanin: unpigmented hair cannot absorb the energy. Dark hair on light skin gives the best results.
What about the monthly membership?
The $350/month full-body membership covers the whole body on a monthly basis — the most economical option if you are treating several large areas.
